Share Replica Watches — This fall Glashütte presents new versions of two true classics of its current collection: the Senator Perpetual Calendar and the Senator Panorama Date Moon Phase.
Both models now present their classic visuals in versions distinguished by a startling, galvanic blue dial, framed by a polished stainless steel case and fitted with a finely-wrought dark blue alligator leather bracelet and fold-over clasp in stainless steel. Both are destined for the Saxon watchmaker’s growing boutique collection.
The new blue dials of the Senator Perpetual Calendar and the Senator Panorama Date Moon Phase are crafted in Glashütte’s own dial manufactory in Pforzheim, Germany. Up to 40 separate operations are required to produce the refined and carefully finished “faces” of the timepieces. The dial manufactory team’s extensive experience allowed them to develop the perfectly tuned, intense blue that gives the new models their unusual allure. To achieve the desired hue one must exercise precise control over the entire galvanic colouring process, ensuring that the tension is at the correct level, that the dial is submerged in the bath for precisely the right length of time, and that the correct distance is maintained between the elements in the bath, among other requirements.
The new blue versions of the two Senator classics are the latest additions to the Saxon manufactory’s Boutique Collection, currently comprising an enhancement to the Pavonina Collection in white gold as well as five just recently introduced colourful Sixties models, reminiscent of the iconic design of the Swiss replica watches made in Glashütte during GDR times.
